Evacuated Livestock Benefit Concert
These wildfires have been devastating for many ranchers, farmers and homesteaders. Let's show them some love by raising some funds to cover the costs of caring for all the livestock who have been re-homed and often without pasture. Sunday September 16 we will power up the Haybale Stage with full sound and offer a BBQ. Admission will be by donation, suggested $25-$40 per adult. Doors open at 1 and we will switch to acoustic jamming after 6:00 pm. Overnight camping is available for $20 per vehicle/family or $5 for singles, free for volunteers. Please no dogs or keep them on a leash as we have two dogs and lots of livestock including two newborn lambs (did not see that coming!). This event is presented by MASH - the Music and Agritourism Society of the Hazeltons with funding to help pay performers by CreativeBC.

The Racket! If you have not heard this trio yet you are in a for a huge treat! The Racket is an alternative rock trio originating in the small communities of Hazelton and Smithers in northern BC. Since their formation in 2011, they have been writing original music. A few of their influences are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, and Jeff Buckley. From their live performance you can expect stomping folk rock, tight and funky grooves, and heavy n’ steady blues rock. Being raised in the northern BC festival scene and having toured and headlined festivals all over BC in the last two years, they know damn well how to get a crowd on it’s feet, dancing the night away. The trio also has tons of experience satisfying a smaller crowd in an intimate venue such as a cafe or house show. With a lot of songs revolving around social change, their goal is to set the new age to a heavy downbeat. Listen Now!
