Sheepskins
The unmistakeable luxury of a Shetland or Icelandic sheepskin that has been handcrafted using all natural tanning processes is a treasure you will love forever. Our sheepskins are fleshed, stretched on homemade frames, brain-tanned, worked over until soft, trimmed and then smoked. This process can take up to 15 hours spread out over several days and the results are well worth it! Our sheepskins come in many colours, shapes, and sizes and are priced individually. Sheepskins have many uses - as a stunning rug or wall hanging, as a liner for your bivy sack, as a chair cover in your vehicle or in your home, or in some cases, as your pet's favourite napping spot. Here is a description of the sheepskins we have had in inventory - the measurements are in inches and represent the main body, legs not included.
