2023 Day WWOOFing and Tours
In 2023 we are doing some major upgrades to the farm and are opening our gates to folks who want to come lend a hand. Since there will be construction going on spring through fall, instead of "farm tours" we will be offering visits with our animals and two hour volunteer shifts to help out with the project of the day. There's always something new to see and learn on our off-grid farm. Once a week, we open our gates to visitors who want some experiential learning in one of our seven main areas of activity: 1.livestock management 2. plant-based food systems (gardens and greenhouse) 3. tools and machinery 4. buildings and fences, 5. energy and water 6. value-added production (in the kitchen or in the brewery) and 7. Community and Marketing. Being self-sufficient means we do a lot of everything, and when we don't have the skills or tools, we find somebody who does.
